What to expect: You will be given a well-rounded Yoga practice with safe postures appropriate for the week of pregnancy you are in. You will be safely guided into and out of every practice, safe breathing techniques to promote relaxation and that much-needed stretching to alleviate tensions in various areas of the body. You will be guided towards a smooth labor and postpartum experience. You will be given guided meditation specifically designed for Mother-baby connection.

This is a pioneer initiative from the Medical Giant to utilize the healing power of Yoga for the health and wellness of to-be-Moms in our community! Hackensack Meridian Health is the largest health network in New Jersey. We are excited and thankful for this great opportunity to guide the most precious population of our society - Mothers to a healthy, peaceful journey of pregnancy; a natural, conscious childbirth; and a smooth Postpartum recovery.

Pregnancy Yoga Testimonials
I began my prenatal yoga journey at 12 weeks pregnant. It was my first time practicing yoga so I had no idea what to expect. Now, at nearly 38 weeks pregnant I couldn’t imagine my pregnancy without Fasila.
Fasila is truly one of the most patient and positive people I have ever met. She genuinely cares about each one of her clients. Communication doesn’t end with class each week. Fasila is available for support any time of day. I remember shortly after beginning yoga, I felt a painful cramp one night and didn’t know what to do. I sent Fasila a message describing my pain and within the hour she called to offer me suggestions. By the next morning and with her help I felt much better and Fasila again checked up on me.
Her prenatal yoga classes are designed to meet the needs of various stages of pregnancy through stretches, poses, relaxation and breathing techniques as well as preparing to deliver your sweet baby. At 32 weeks, baby was stil in breech position. I asked Fasila if there were any poses for naturally turning the baby and sure enough there are many!! After practicing in class and at home over a week’s time- at my following ultrasound the baby had turned head down! I was so thankful for the helpful techniques.
I will truly miss the company and support offered by Fasila and the women in the prenantal yoga classes. It was such an amazing journey to be able to go through with others and hear their stories. I highly recommend Fasila for prenatal yoga! Fasila is extremely knowledgeable in the practice of yoga. She facilitates good breathing and stretching techniques as well as creating a special bond with your baby. I highly recommend giving this class a try!

I've been taking prenatal yoga classes ever since I was 12 weeks pregnant. I'm currently 28 weeks in my last trimester and I look forward to continue my practice. The instructor Fasilia has something great offer everyone. My greatest takeaway is her bright and positive energy. She's also very accommodating to everyone's schedule and lifestyle. I started here when I was 18 weeks and with each class started feeling more strong physically/ mentally. Yoga instructor Fasila is subject expert and excellent instructor. Somewhere around 34 th week scan my ultrasound practitioner told me baby is in breech position , thanks to Fasila’s special class for breech babies and within one week of practice baby was back to headstand pose :) I‘d highly recommend it to all beautiful to be moms out there... 🙏
